Receiving post from Romania

Hi im probably not on the right forum but i dont speak Romanian so wasn't sure were to go but was wondering if anyone one could help me, ive ordered an item from Romania and is from a friend so is ok but i cannot work there track and trace system so was wondering can an anyone here check this track an trace number and tell me where it is of when i should expect it, it coming from Romania to Northern Ireland and was sent on the 25th June, the tracking number is
RN918295367RO
If anyone can give me any info on Romanian post please let me no, it was sent by urgent postage, thankyou for any help.

Thankyou for your help, do you think looking at this i will receive my parcel on monday or do you no how long it normally takes? And will it come through Royal Mail? Thankyou

No you'll definitely not get it on Monday if I read it right its still in Bucharest which means its not even been passed over to the intermediary cargo firm for transport to the UK.

The next status should be similar to - sent to destination country and Royal Mails system "MAY" show - "origin country preparing shipment" (or something similar).

Its most likely to come through RMs system by either the postie or parcelforce but its not 100% certain.

Once its in the UK system delivery should be within a few days - as soon as Customs have released the item.

Yes - its in the process of being handed over to the freight company s0 its between the 2 postal companies.

How long it takes now depends on the freight company and customs/border control. Keep any eye on http://www.royalmail.com/trackdetails" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false; as this will tell you as and when its been scanned. After its left HWDC it should take 1 - 3 days, however HWDC is where border control/customs also work so it may be held there for a while.

BSI Expediat din Romania , yes it means your item left Romania , as translation , but a little bit untrue as info .

When you see such info provided , means your item is no longer in custody of Posta Romana , beeing in pending somewhere on boarding area , waiting for his turn , but only after passed the detailed and really slow inspection of Romanian Customs .
This process could take around 3-4 working days , and nobody will update the real departure date .

On the other side , Royal Mail doesnt provide any tracking info regarding small uninsured shipments , at least for the ones coming from Romania .

Royal Mail got RN915323165RO since yesterday , but no info about , not even later, to confirm delivery only , on RM web page .

As you can see , http://www.trackitonline.ru/" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;
has a lot of info about forwarder fron Romania to UK , date of arrival on UK , which carrier completes the delivery .
Why do i need googleling on such sites to get the right status ?

The conclusion is really simple :
Since such tracking numbers are running freely on an international network , no extra cost or extra work will be required for RM in order to offer status infos ,
especially as they are directly involved in the delivery .
So , they don't offer any info because they don't want to .
Finest example is Shaunateresa"s request , above on this page , suddenly tracking number she claimed , returned with delivery info on RM site , just after she made some noise in here .
No further comment .

I'm having the same issue with a post sent from Romania. The last updated information is that was sent from Bucharest on 11th of February but nothing ever since. What options do I have? Where am I supposed to ask. It's been sent tracked and signed, I have checked lots of tracking websites but it simply vanished
