Super postie?

Post by penpal »

I have a 6 month redirection set up from a house down the road. My post is all arriving to new address, but since the first week has not had any redirection stickers on...I'm just curious do I have a super postie who just remembers my name and is redirecting for me?

Also wondering what is a nice tip to give (or are you allowed these days?) - cash/choccies? - since my postie is super amazing and managed to deliver a very important letter (my cert from volunteering at the commonwealth games) which didn't have any house number on! I never meet him/her to say thanks so would like to leave a wee something on the door :)

If you've just moved "from a house down the road" and it's the same postman or one working just by your old one then it's quite likely that corners are cut and the redirection stickers aren't used.
Tips, up to £30 for tax reasons, are allowed these days and I've not known a postman who wouldn't prefer cash, whatever the sum, rather than choccies. :Very Happy
