Big delay on international items SouthEast/East England!

Post by box13 »

Hi all!
I have two items delayed within United Kingdom.
First delayed 29 days !!! sent from Dartford , South-East England.
2nd delayed over 20 days !!! sent from Colchester , East England.
We are located in East Europe and these items usually received via GLS , but these my 2 items are never delivered by Royal mail to GLS courier.
Please tell me is there any problem in England, are they stolen? Maybe must open claim in Royal Mail after 30 days from sending?
Both items are with tracking number, on Royal mail Tracking site says:

1st:
Your item, posted on 15/07/14 with reference RN=========GB has been passed to the overseas postal service for delivery in ========= (my country)

2nd:
Status: Please try again.
The reference number you have entered may be incorrect. Please check and try again. Find out more about tracking reference numbers.
Information on your International Signed item is not yet available.

Please, help me!

What entries are there for each when tried at http://www.royalmail.com/trackdetails" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false; ?

That'll give all entries before an item leaves the UK?

What was the contents? It could be that the contents are a restricted/prohibited item from being sent by air

No information for these items in GLS tracking.
On this link Royal mail track shows:

1st item:
16/07/14 AM DESPATCHED TOGLS BULGARIA BULGARIA
15/07/14 20:32 DESPATCHABLE TOHWDC SIGNED FOR ROAD 3 MEDWAY MAIL CENTRE
15/07/14 19:13 COLLECTED MEDWAY MAIL CENTRE
15/07/14 11:55 ACCEPTED AT POL 2 - 4 Fleetdale DA2 6JB

2nd item:
Sorry, there has been a problem with reference number you've entered. Please try again.

There are mechanical watch movements inside. I believe there are local problem and first item is never delivered to GLS in UK.

I have many other purchases and received with no problem.

Friends, I am very disappointed by this delay. I will get my money from paypal likely, but both sellers seem to have no intention to contact the Royal Mail to open claims.
30-40 days are very long delay and I think that things are stolen.
Has this forum a connection with the Royal Mail? Can I send a private message with both tracking numbers and them checked by an employee, whether stolen or delayed somewhere? I do not want the two numbers to be public here, but I can send them to an employee if there is one here. I am 7 years buyer from UK with red star on ebay, and this is first similar delay in the last 2 years, after over 350 small packets received with no problems in the last 2 years by Signed-for.
