UK to Ireland

Post by mcwolf »

Hi,
I expecting delivery send out 28/07/2014 from London to Shannon, Ireland with tracking ref. ROXXXXXXXXXGB.
RM customer service agent said that my parcel is probably on its way or in Ireland already, so I have to track it on http://track.anpost.ie/" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false; now, but RM tracking system shows only:

28/07/14 19:03 DESPATCHABLE TOHEATHROW WORLDWIDE DC JUBILEE MAIL CENTRE
28/07/14 18:55 COLLECTED JUBILEE MAIL CENTRE

Does it mean, my parcel wasn't yet recorded in HEATHROW WORLDWIDE DC?
It was send out with Signed and tracked international service.

To be frank HWDC does not have a perfect record with the scanning. From experience it probably arrived at HWDC yesterday and they are hopefully preparing shipment to Eire as we speak. Hopefully, it should appear with a status - Being Prepared for dispatch to oversea postal operator within a day or so (or an similar status).

I would also follow Customer Service advice and keep an eye on the Anpost tracking site.

Good luck.

After another call to RM customer service, I start to believe they lost it.
Yesterday customer service agent inform me that my parcel is in WWDC, today some other said it looks like it never arrive there, what is highly unusual, as there are so many mail transfers between JUBILEE MAIL CENTER and HWDC everyday and at least two scans in HWDC.

One more thing,
Latest update looks like this:
01/08/14 AM DESPATCHED TODUBLIN - FOR ONWARD DELIVERY EIRE
31/07/14 PM DESPATCHED TODUBLIN - FOR ONWARD DELIVERY EIRE
31/07/14 AM DESPATCHED TODUBLIN - FOR ONWARD DELIVERY EIRE

28/07/14 19:03 DESPATCHABLE TOHEATHROW WORLDWIDE DC JUBILEE MAIL CENTRE
28/07/14 18:55 COLLECTED JUBILEE MAIL CENTRE

Why there are three "despatched to Dublin" scans, every single one scanned different time?
