1st class taking 3-4 days to arrive through main lands.

I have ordered 4 packages this past week, all 1st class, all from different parts of the UK, all not come next day or even the day after that, They all took 3 days and one even took 4 days....

Why the f*ck is there such a delay in my packages arriving? not even around christmas are my 1st class parcels this late....

Extremely unhappy with this, I feel calling up my local depot and shouting at them might help out their employes slacking [most likely not] but I honestly cant stand it, [Mentioning this me and my neighbors in a 5 house line havent gotten any mail in 3 days [still waiting on my parcels]] but i have a IP Camera hook up to under my top window and I see the bald headed c*nt walking across the street delivering mail, but seems he is a bit shy of coming to our side of the road?

Wtf is going on with this? Can someone please explain why our local mail guy is doing this?

Mate, When you order something and pay that bit extra from a vendor to get your item shipped 1st class that is ment to be 1-2 day delivery and it takes up to 4 days and you see the mail man delivering to people around your area but to no avail your items don't arrive, I'm sure I'm not the only one who would be enraged at him / royal mail.

The delay in your items arriving has probably got nothing to do with your postman, given that he is the last link in a very long pipeline. (If pipelines had links which they don't)
If he had your packets he would simply deliver them for to do otherwise would be a sackable offence.
If he is only delivering to one side of the street there are 2 possibilities.
1. He has too much work to do and the other side of the street is being done by somebody else on overtime.
2. The street where you live has been lapsed as part of a summer efficiency drive - meaning different postmen do different streets on top of their regular route to ensure they are working all their paid hours. Therefore the postman that you can see may not be supposed to be delivering to your side of the street anyway.

Lastly if you refer to any of my colleagues as a c*** again, there is a "report" facility which I will use to alert an administrator to your unwelcome language.
He then will hopefully ban you from our site and nobody will give you any help at all.

Thanks for the answer, but I mean come on this site doesn't even have IP monitoring on threads meaning I could just spam reload my thread to get 1000 views on it [Not that thread views mean anything] but from that I can also gather this site won't ban IP's meaning a new account could easily be made and if they do ban IP's by some miraculously turn of events, There are sock5 proxies / VPN's that are widely available for use so a new account could just be re-created under a new IP.
Not that I would bother making a new account if a admin saw fit to ban me I was just making a point a ban means nothing lol, I have gotten my answer and thats all I needed and I will take my leave.

But if by any chance you do log back in with a sock puppet that ill also be banned.

1. We do monitor IPS - we make that clear in the rules - we just don't allow everyone to see them for the security and anonymity of our members.
2. The name calling and abuse was unwarranted more especially because we are not an official RM site. Would you insult a Tesco worker in a Pub because the local shop was out of garibaldis.
3. Mass post if you want - we can mass delete.
4. We can and do inform ISPs when posters behaviour is excessive - If necessary we will give them any details they ask for and a print out of the posts.

Mind you your mentality is obvious, you call people names and threaten colleagues but still expect to get information. If you were in a pub you'd be throwing a tantrum in the ball pit.


Just one last thing - just because a company says its shipped the item - doesn't mean its entered RMs system. For instance if they say shipped Friday a 7.00 first class, its possible Royal Mail won't collect it till 6pm (the latest usual collection time for businesses) and then with a 1 - 3 day service delivery could be as late as Thursday, at best Tuesday. If it arrived on Tuesday that's 5 calendar days but it still took less than 24hrs for RM to deliver it.
