Royal Mail have not said how much we have been paid for it. Around £1.5m would be a reasonable guess since the normal price for a D2D of this type over six days is about 6p per item. Obviously there will be a premium for delivering it over 2 days. There is no way they are paying more than the 1c price for a D2Dk979aaa wrote:£23,000,000 this is D2D one day delivery they can charge what they want whether we can deliver it is entirely another matter!

No, I am not a total idiot. It would, however, seem that you are. In the document you have linked to, a D2D of 36-60g (the sun D2D was 54g) with >10m circulation costs between £55.93 and £64.86 per 1000 items. So that is about 6p each.k979aaa wrote:All right 6p you are a total idiot here http://www.royalmail.com/sites/default/ ... l2014a.pdf" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false; look at what royalmail make for normal D2D 1 day delivery they can charge even more
