Hi
I was expecting a parcel to be delivered special delivery by 1pm on the 28 May. It still has not arrived on the 29th.
Looking on the tracking it has not been scanned as received at the Canterbury centre and has been in limbo for 2 days. Is it possible that it still might arrive or does it sound lost?

Did the sender definitely use the Special delivery service? It's unusual for a special to go missing but it does happen every now and then. Check with the sender it's definitely a special and not a recorded delivery and then have the sender give Royal Mail a call and ask where the hell it is. You should have received it if it was a special.

Thanks for the reply Coxie. The sender assures me that it was posted Special delivery guaranteed by 1pm on Tuesday. The tracking has just now updated after 2 days so I am relieved it is not lost and might arrive tomorrow

Very unusual to get delayed like this if clearly and correctly addressed
