The IE at the end of the tracking code indicates that its origin is Ireland (Eire) not the UK. You would need to contact An Post in Ireland rather than Royal Mail. However the tracking system does say it has passed through the international mail centre and was sent on to Macedonia on the 12th of February. http://www.royalmail.com/trackdetails" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

Just to say a quick hello to the Royal Mail staff who I see on this forum have received quite a bashing for missing parcels! Anyway generally I find the Royal Mail service to be efficient, professional and reliable so I'm not here to slate the service

So onto my question. I have a parcel that was posted from NY to London on the 1st March. It was posted via USPS under the International Priority service. It is a signed for and tracked service.

The last scanned location was;

02.03.2014 14:48 Isc New York Ny(usps)

We are now 17 days later and no trace of the package anywhere. Coincidentally the package went missing a similar time as the plane in the news however I don't think USPS mail from NY to London gets sent via Malaysian airlines

I have called Royal Mail, USPS, checked the online tracking services such as Royal Mail tracking, USPS tracking and thanks to this thread, http://www.trackitonline.ru" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;.

No one, including the original sender, knows where this package now is. Is there anything I have missed in attempting to understand if it is still in NY (perhaps customs have held the outgoing package) or could it be held in Langley customs UK?

I ordered a parcel from the US and it shows that it is at the heathrow worldwide DC.
As I live in the uk and live around 20 mins by car from the heathrow worldwide DC roughly how long will my order take to arrive?
As I'm worried it won't make it by Wednesday for a birthday present

Depends what the item is and whether there is a backlog in customs - it has to clear there first.

Even when its cleared customs, it won't go direct from HWDC but will go through a Mail Centre then your local Delivery Office. It might make it Tuesday or Wednesday but I Wouldn't pin your hopes on it.

Ahh I see, it's just a pair of trainers. I've emailed the company that sent them and they said it's with HWDC

Hi everyone, my wife was send me a letter from Lithuania, it was fast delivery and registred,
Letter was arived in uk heatrow dc 2014.05.31 and till this time I did not get it,it's 3 weeks i'm expecting for it,inside wery special documents,i need them fast as I can, maybe someone can help me here? My tracking code is RN977570670LT, I have a plain to my coutry after 4 days,if I will not get this letter,i cant go,and thats mean I will loose my plain,loose money,and time :( I dont want go to court,but I feel that my letter is lost :(

I placed an order on dx.com on the 3rd of June 2014. At the moment this is what I have got

how long does it take for an order to leave Langley HWDC? This is the 10th day that my order have been at the Heathrow World Distribution Center, I've yet to hear anything about movement

It's probably stuck in customs, until customs release the item to RM, there's nothing that RM will be able to do. What country is it being sent from?

Sent from Hong Kong to UK.. I ordered a parcel from dx.com..
I contacted them about 15 minutes ago, and they told me just to wait.
I understand the RM side of things, but Langley HWDC should have some sort of contact details or a call center at least

I checked 17track given to me by DX.com for tracking my package.
It has been saying Item sent to Langley HWDC since 18/06/14.
But does this say it has reached UK soil?

Technically speaking no it doesn't say it has reached the UK. If we were being picking its saying its been forwarded on to the UK, but not that it has arrived.

As suggested before I take it you have tried the same number on http://www.royalmail.com/trackdetails" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false; or if the DX is the same company as the one in the UK you could try their tracking https://www.thedx.co.uk/" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

My parcel arrived at Langley on 4/08/2014 at Langley hwdc.when I enter my tracking number in royal mail track online it says its at Langley hwdc.do you have any idea when I would be able to receive it.i am in Scotland.
