Back to statistics http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/magazine-27537142" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false; ,link it to UKIP "success" and then say i am talking a load of crap. People are fed up of "leaders" and their henchmen not listening to what the majority want. Over sixty % of the citizens of the UK did not participate in this European election, the way we are going to survive in 50 years time will be vastly different to whats happening now. Giving % with out raw data makes it hard to see whats happening and the ability to question if the raw data is accurate. I have never been a skilled communicator but I know when people are talking bull for there own progression of career climbing in their chosen organisation at the expense of the majority.

That's a really interesting site newtimes and well worth everyone having a view, especially with the statistics thrown at us on an almost daily basis - the particular one being, mail is falling so you are obviously not working as hard, summer brings a fall in letters so you need to lapse - all actually subscribed to by the union - I presume you refer to union bods career prospects when they support the managerial stance instead of those who actually pay to support their ambitions.newtimes wrote:Back to statistics http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/magazine-27537142" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false; ,link it to UKIP "success" and then say i am talking a load of crap. To be honest RM haven't got a Scooby doo re sunday deliveries ie what the Posties are actually going to do. At the mo it will resourced by overtime as the duty structures are not there at mo. It'll be a case of wait and see what happens when it happens

I think your find they have been talking to the Union at national and divisional level on this for sometime.rainbowwarrior72 wrote:To be honest RM haven't got a Scooby doo re sunday deliveries ie what the Posties are actually going to do. It is a loss leader and initially will be run from the mail centre but as it grows it will be run from the base of where the enquiry office is open sundays.
It will not be compulsory and will never be as we are talking about just parcels , there will not be a requirement for letters to be delivered and of course most of the suppliers are reluctant to put too much cost on Sunday delivery and the same will go with Royal Mail as we know Amazon are doing some of their own sunday deliveries , as will DPD and Yodel.

The best union reps I have seen have a burn out period of about 5 years or less, I respect them, the careerist are an other matter http://dictionary.cambridge.org/diction ... /careerist" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;dvbuk55 wrote:That's a really interesting site newtimes and well worth everyone having a view, especially with the statistics thrown at us on an almost daily basis - the particular one being, mail is falling so you are obviously not working as hard, summer brings a fall in letters so you need to lapse - all actually subscribed to by the union - I presume you refer to union bods career prospects when they support the managerial stance instead of those who actually pay to support their ambitions.newtimes wrote:Back to statistics http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/magazine-27537142" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false; ,link it to UKIP "success" and then say i am talking a load of crap. You're probably right, I've experienced that very thing over the years. I think it's the lack of support from the CWU and the membership that wears them down and no wonder.newtimes wrote:The best union reps I have seen have a burn out period of about 5 years or less, I respect them, the careerist are an other matter http://dictionary.cambridge.org/diction ... /careerist" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;
