Hi,
Any advice, I have a parcel that was sent to me on the 1st May and was tracked (thankfully).
I got a follow-up from the company who sent it to me to review it, when I realised I hadn't received it so I tried to track it.
When I track it I get the following details:-

01-MAY-2014 17:03 Pre-advice Received
I have phone Royal Mail who were not able to help much other than to say it is "Ready for Delivery" today, when I pointed out it is currently stating "Mis-Sort Scan" (for the 4th time) and that it has been "Ready for Delivery" 4 times, all they could do was advise me to wait.
They did confirm that the address and post code was spot on, so I really don't know what the problem is or how to resolve it - any ideas?
Many thanks in advance!
Jason.

Now that you have been in contact with the Call Centre they should be sending the manager a report asking them for information. With that hopefully it should mean any query they have will be resolved and delivery will happen.
If there is no change on the merry go round today, I would suggest popping into the Callers Office (I take it the Delivery Office on the scans is your local one) and explain what's happening on the tracking system hopefully that will help resolve any problems they are having. Take ID with you and they may even be willing to hand it over, but thats not very likely.

What's the postcode for where it's meant to be going? I'm wondering if the road where it's meant to be going to is split between two delivery offices

Having worked in the Royal Mail sorting office before I can tell you mist likely some idiot keeps putting it in the wrong section or they are having trouble reading the post code.
I would go up to the sorting office yourself and ask reception and explain your situation
