Trying to figure out the meaning of this....

Post by wildarmtins »

I'm tracking a parcel that was sent via Singapore Post, and on the Royal Mail tracking site it shows this (please see attached picture).

What does collected mean? I assumed it meant collected by my local sorting office or something of that nature, but I'm trying to get some clarification :-)

This one idoes http://www.royalmail.com/trackdetails" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false; - but the status hasn't changed

But this one http://www.royalmail.com/track-trace" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false; doesn't and neither does the ParcelForce one either http://www.parcelforce.com/track-trace" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false; - although there is a chance thats the way its coming.

Package arrived today so I would guess the collected did mean that it was "collected for distribution" so to speak :-)

A bit late now but all it means is that your item has had it first scan into this country, next scan the mail center and then the delivery office and finally at your door.
