People "like me"?IWW Fellow Worker wrote:There are 130,000 of us who are against the strike. Do people like you imagine we strike for nothing?
Who am I exactly?
No, I'd imagine those on strike feel aggreived, or that they "should" strike because there's a "cause to fight for"
I just don't agree with them. Is that ok?

Re: As a customer
Why obviously - not all customers are against the strike in fact on my round I have had more support than not. Would like to know why your against the strike so that we can put our position to you. I have had a look over on your forum and I have to say that there is not a lot of informed views mainly regurgitation from Sky and BBC who are not giving a balanced view on this strike at all.tpr007 wrote:http://www.thedvdforums.com/forums/show ... ost7631749

The public always moan that they are treated like crap and can't do anything about it.
I say to them that they can organise things if they want to put the effort in,but most of them won't.It is fortunate for us that we are in a position to do something about the crap thrown at us.
Life's not fair but that's just the way it is.
We don't need the approval of every member of the public, yes we are shitting on a few people by striking but something like this will always have victims that is inevitable.
When the corporate big boys throw people onto the dole and relocate overseas it is often asked why they do this and the simple answer is they can.
The fact is we can stick together and defend ourselves and people are jealous of that fact and call us lazy this and that but there isn't much that they can really do to us and they still end up coming back to us when they realise how much the competition charges it is just that when they do come back the media never mention that.
If they do sack us all I am sure most will find equal or better jobs but that is not the point,we have an industry that to most of us is a way of life and when some arsehole wants to destroy that it becomes a matter of principle that you have to stand up and fight.
