I like to think it was a wind up by a very funny bloke trying to see just how far you could go with a courier letter.
I think we should take on the challenge and raise the bar...
I'm going to suggest that we offer to mow lawns during the summer lapsing period.

It's obviously a prank letter. The Courier will be red faced over letting this one slip past them. If everyone writes in with other amazing money making ideas I'm sure some more will accidentally get printed!fishtank wrote:I like to think it was a wind up by a very funny bloke trying to see just how far you could go with a courier letter.

We could take Dr's to see their patients in the middle of the night and they can hand over as many D2D's whilst they are there. Gives the patient something to read, whilst the doc is doing the business end of things.

Re: More D2Ds anyone ???
Having worked in the callers office this week and seen the make up of next weeks D2D's, the bigger walks ( 600+ calls ) have got 125kg of D2D's to deliver in weight.
thats ave of 21kg a day or TWO full pouches in old money.
a local magazine, a council update magazine, a pizza leaflet ( of course ) a small-ish catalogue, the direct live chequebook and a gateway folder leaflet.
and it's not supposed to take any longer than a normal day.
so add on 4 more and take that weight to say 175kg thats almost 30kg a day in crap!!!
and all for 20 odd quid

Definitely a 'planted' letter.
Bit like sycophantic questions MP's get for a Wednesday afternoon, just there to use up time.
Or in this case, prepare staff for what may very well be the inevitable.
