Is this normal?

Hi all,

I sent a parcel to Germany on 12/12/2013 and it arrived on 17/12/2013 using Parcel force.

I recently sent a parcel at 14:00 New Years eve 31/12/2013 with No tracking using Airmail, hoping it would arrive within 5 working days.

New years day obviously is a holiday

and the 6th Is a holiday in Germany for some regions.

it still has not arrived, at what point should I decide that the package has gone missing? It was a Birthday present and card. Not too expensive so I'm not worried.

Is Airmail slower than parcel force?

Any Input would be great.

Depends on the service purchased from parcelforce, some are slower and some are quicker, at this time of year with the huge amount of stuff going through the system though just about cleared now, i think it should be there in another day or two as long as its not been held up in customs or contains any prohibited goods, what was in the parcel itself?

The Parcel was fairly lightweight,

contained a card
soft bear
and a wooly hat

Im starting to get paranoid because the box I used a box that had previously contained protein powder, which split and went inside the box maybe it looks suspicious and my bear is being dissected.

Ahh well Ill give it till the end of the week.

I really hope it does not suffer that fate.

So whats the difference between sending through Airmail and parcel force?

If it does not arrive by Monday next week is there anything I can do?
