Hello,

tracking number is RU309892317GB

I know it has been passed to the overseas postal service for delivery .. and i'm in the United Arab Emirates

so when will I receive it? and can you tell me what company you handed the package to? so I can contact them.. it's been 10 days

Who is United Arab EMirates - Dubai Royal Mail Agent?

Is it signed for? If so, it probably won't be tracked any further... You should allow 2-4 weeks for delivery. If not delivered contact RM via twitter @royalmail afterwards

but my question was .. who is RM's agent in United Arab EMirates .. to what delivering company the package was handed to ?

You wasted your money paying extra for the tracking - Royal Mail doesn't offer any tracking to UAE once it leaves the UK, hence the "18/12/13 AM DESPATCHED TO / OFFICE UNKNOWN / COUNTRY UNKNOWN" line because it isn't on the list of countries that do provide us with tracking. You can be sure it has left here and can be sure it is now no longer in Royal Mails hands beyond that nothing.

Your parcel will be handled by your own postal service - Emirates Post. There may be a big delay before they get around to processing it because of Christmas backlogs. They will not be able to help you track it because it is not a service available in your country, you'll have no luck contacting them or Royal Mail. If it hasn't arrived 25 days after posting the *sender* can submit a P58 claim form - http://www.royalmail.com/sites/default/ ... _%20v2.pdf

actually it's not me who got the tracking number .. it's the seller on ebay .. he gave it to me

i was supposed to receive my package last this week but nothing... i'll contact Emirates Post and i'll see if they can help me... ur replay was really helpful

Nothing they can do, it's not a guaranteed service. The sender has to contact them.

Actually the sender should contact royal mail if its not received or for any queries not emirates post

it wont do any harm if the recipient contacts Emirates Post, best if they can contact their local delivery office they may be able to confirm they have it and may be able to confirm if a delivery has attempted to take place and failed but i dont think it will be there just yet

The last posting date for xmas was the 6th december for middle east so your parcel was sent 10 days after that, i would imagine it will be into the new year before it get there

To be frank the same way you would normally get your mail. For the UAE I believe that would be an Emirates Post - Post Office as there are no street deliveries in your country.

Correct. Though some large office blocks do have mail delivered direct to them, so most people in the UAE seem to get their mail delivered to work where possible.
