Hi,
I was just wondering if anybody knew of any issues with the distribution of parcels out of the country.
I posted a parcel on the 5/12/2103 to the USA and when i have contacted customer service they stated it was last tracked on the 7/12/2013 at Heathrow. They confirmed it still could be waiting for a flight to the USA.
Therefore just seeing if anyone knew of any issues?

There is huge delay right now, so I would honestly wait UPTO 1-2 weeks, if not more.

Really happy knowing it's not just me lol. It's just the royal mail track and trace only shows the parcel being posted and nothing more.

The amount of tracking depends a lot on the service you used and the destination. In the USA they may not even get the item signed for as apparently the reciprocal agreement between USPS and Royal Mail has lapsed and our PDAs no longer ask for a signature for some USA ones, it may be the same for them.

I paid for tracking in this country and a signature on delivery. I was just a bit concerned because the parcels not been tracked for 5 days and still looks sat at heathrow.
