Airsure delivery, Estonia

Post by dimkagfx »

Hi guys,

I am having a terrible experience with Roylmail Airsure. According to the tracking it left the country almost a week ago, and it is still missing.
Customer support was not great, as they gave me absolutely no information, waiting for a response in Twitter now.

Tried to track it down on Eesti Post (Estonian Mail) website with no success and their customer service said, that Airsure parcels can not be tracked within the country.

Do you probably know, who handles parcels/mail in Scandinavia/Eastern Europe?

Cheers

GLS who are a european subsidary of Royal Mail seem to be doing a lot more work in Europe you could try their tracking at https://gls-group.eu/EU/en/gls-partner-estonia" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

So, I've got in touch with

1. Royalmail, who told me that my parcel was shipped to Estonia on 29th of November 2013. (Thanks, very informative, I would have never guessed that myself, having a tracking number)
2. Itella (Finland) - Assumed, that they might ship it through Finland - No records
3. Itella (Estonia) - No records

Itella is the company, that does shipping on behalf of GLS in northern countries.

Waiting for a response from Eesti Post now.

I should have shipped it with DHL/TNT/UPS. Now I am seriously worried that my parcel will be lost and I'll lose the phone I've sent for my brother.

If it's on it's way ready for dispatch overseas, then there is huge delays right now.

But how come, that it was despatched, but never received in the recipient country? Still wondering...

It may be delayed by going through Customs, it may be just volume of traffic in Estonia, could be any number of reasons. To be honest there is not much that be done except wait impatiently.

It is also dependent on the country the item is posted to scanning the item and then uploading the information, if they do not do that it may very well be delivered or on it's way to being delivered

Unfortunately once the item has left the country you are at the mercy of the postal service for the country concerned Royal Mail can only track it up to leaving this country
