Moved to Angard forum.

It's good to get these types of threads, the ridiculous my manager said bollox, so we can reassure ourselves that while the world is falling apart, Royal Mail managers are still being the low-life C***S they have always been.

The daily grind of having to argue your case with an intellectual pigmy of a line manager is physically and emotionally draining.

I'd go with RM where possible, Angard is just casual workers.

If you're new to Angard expect minimum wage, and no you don't get a RM polo shirt, you'll be lucky to get a high-vis vestdazzarfc12 wrote:Hey i am wondering what the pay is like with angard and do you get royal mail polo shirt

You'll also be lucky to get correct pay. Or hours. Or breaks.freelunch wrote:If you're new to Angard expect minimum wage, and no you don't get a RM polo shirt, you'll be lucky to get a high-vis vestdazzarfc12 wrote:Hey i am wondering what the pay is like with angard and do you get royal mail polo shirt

Re: Angard staffing
Why - RM seem to be taking on casuals just for Christmas. If the casuals stay on they will generally be transferred after Christmas to Angard - like last year.CT10 wrote:I'd go with RM where possible, Angard is just casual workers.
When our place had RM jobs available last year the precedence for the jobs was RM permanents, then Angard casuals then everyone else.

Very much depends on: the shifts; weekdays or Sunday; where you work and what you do. They claim to have 2000+ pay rates.
