Hello All,
I have a packet that is showing the following information in the canadapost.ca tracking site:
2013/11/13 15:57 GBLALA, United Kingdom Item has arrived in foreign country
07:50 GBLALA, International shipment has arrived in a foreign country
2013/11/05 11:48 VANCOUVER International item has left Canada
2013/11/04 20:26 RICHMOND Item processed
15:07 SURREY Item accepted at the Post Office
I noticed that the packet has been sitting in this status for quite a few business days - on the tracking site, it says that it was supposed to be delivered by November 14th and so in this case, it is late.
I just have concerns that it is lost - I can't track this on royalmail or parcelforce.com, they say that the tracking information is not available.
Can anyone provide me some insight?

Re: Tracked Packet International from Canada - Idle in GBLAL
Thanks!
This is what it says:
14/11/13 03:01 RECEIVED ATMANCHESTER MAIL CENTRE MANCHESTER MAIL CENTRE
13/11/13 15:57 DESPATCHABLE TOMANCHESTER MAIL CENTRE HEATHROW WORLDWIDE DC
13/11/13 08:07 RECEIVED IN UK HEATHROW WORLDWIDE DC
Does this mean it's still being sorted for delivery? It is going to Manchester - but I'm not too familiar with the geography to make any more insight.
Would it help if I call that mail centre?
Thanks!

That's quite positive... It's on the right track at least.
It arrived at last Thursday at Manchester so would really expect delivery any day now. Maybe just sit tight and see what happens over next few days. But it's definitely on the right track.
Have you actually checked with your recipient they have not received? Another possibility is that it may have been delivered without signature. Even though this is not supposed to happen, unfortunately it does occasionally.

Re: Tracked Packet International from Canada - Idle in GBLAL
It is very likely to be an International (Canadian) express post item. If that is the case it will be delivered without being signed for or tracked any further as these items are being re-routed to the normal mail stream after arriving in Manchester as they are deemed to be ordinary mail because when they are scanned on the PDA by the delivery postman at the door it comes up on his screen as no signature required.

thanks... is there anyway I could confirm on the delivery?
I am actually returning an item to the seller for the refund.. if he lies through his teeth and says it has not been delivered, i don't think i would be able to get my money back :(
the item under canadapost is called "Tracked Packet - International" and it does have delivery confirmation

If it's been tracked as far as Manchester Mail Centre, I'd like to think it'd be scanned at point of delivery and should show up as delivered using the same website you copied and pasted for us earlier. If it hasn't, there's no real way you can check for delivery as the delivery offices unfortunately can't give detailed information for the thousands of items they have each day for the thousands of addresses.
Does this rag smell of chloroform to you?
