No update after leaving outward office of exchange

Post by pbubcr »

Hi,
A parcel was sent to me from China, with the tracking code RB210580455CN, as follows...

Date/Time Location Activity
Wed 10/16/2013 7:21 am 深圳国际 51805300 Departure from outward office of exchange
Tue 10/15/2013 10:40 pm 深圳市国际大宗邮件处理中心 51810302 Collection
Tue 10/15/2013 5:51 pm 深圳国际 51805300 Opening

Normally a day or two after departure from china I get an inward bound confirmation on the royal mail website but a week later is still showing as "please come back later" (information not yet available online). It's not valuable (I doubt for a second it's duty / vat worthy) and it's unlikely to have been held up by customs (it's not a laptop or anything counterfeitable).

Can anyone shed any light on this? Have royal mail stopped scanning incoming parcels?

Thanks

No being an official site we can't answer with any certainty, but all indications are that HWDC (the International Hub) is not scanning items on a regular basis.
