Hi,

I've read too many bad opinions and reviews about Royal mail delivering goods via GLS Romania
which never arrived to their destination and this made me want to investigate a bit.
My package has arrived to Romania in just 2 days, Royal Mail is cool,
but I'm very concerned of GLS practices and lack of professionalism.

I saw TrueBlueTerrier is helping our people and noticed that he somehow finds out GLS parcel numbers from RM reference.
I would like to know how I can find my GLS parcel number? I only have the Royal Mail reference number
and when I try to perform a search on GLS' website, it doesn't recognize it.

Type the royal mail number into the GLS Romania website and sometimes it will give you the GLS parcel number. However, the Royal Mail number should be trackable throughout its journey anyway even if GLS give it a new number.

After a few phone calls, I found out the package was handed over to GLS Germany, not Romania.
Anyhow, this is far below DHL's level of transparency and efficacy.

The guys at GLS Romania just entered my details in their system during my phone call.
Why in the world don't they have automated systems to do that? it's 2013.

Hello.
How can track the package after it was sent overseas service? Royal mais says:
"Your item, posted on 04/11/13 with reference RU358483146GB has been passed to the overseas postal service for delivery in ROMANIA."
How do I know that the package arrived in Romania?

GLS services in romania is s**t. dont contact if on pack is specified this. dont delivery fast.
why royal mail choose gls? is more couriries in romania. when was with romanian post all worked very good. GLS romania is not good services .

Royal Mail ones are 13 characters long and end in GB


The will always follow the Format of 2 letters 9 Numbers and end in GB

example:

AA 1234 5678 9GB
