Hi,
My parcel arrived in uk from china (china air mail) on 29th September. I am yet to receive it, 19 days later!
It was last tracked at HWDC Langley on 29th sept.
Spoken to uk customs and they said there is no record of it being retained or charged.
Royal Mail say it has not been released from customs... Who do I believe?
I need this parcel (trainers) for a running race in 1 week!
What do you think has happened to it?
is it lost?

big delays in customs, they are both right, its still with customs but they havent looked at it yet to release it so thats why they have not scanned it, i dont think you will get it in time for your race, taking upto 4 weeks at moment for things to clear customs

possibly but it may not, it should get tracked when Langley deals with it, but im finding on here that the backlog is that biog they often dont bother scanning it and it just suddenly appears at your doormarkyyyyyy wrote:Thanks for your reply. 4+ weeks is not an unusual time for it to take, I've had things take over a month to arrive from abroad. Items from China are treated as recorded delivery once they are in the UK

Still no parcel. I phoned customs at Langley and they have no record of my parcel on their system and said its with Royal Mail. Royal Mail however say it is not with them.
Can I expect to still receive this or is it lost now?
It arrived at hwdc Langley on 29th September.
