"It's on its way" for a long period

Hello people,

At 01/10/2013 I order from ebay a couple of shoes. Next day 02/10/2013 the seller send me an email to confirm the order and that he post the shoes with the reference number. I checked the number at http://www.royalmail.com/track-trace" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false; and the message that i took was:

It's on its way
Your item, posted on 02/10/13 with reference
RUxxxxxxxxxGB has been received at our
international mail centre and is being made ready
for despatch overseas.

Today 11/10/2013 when i put the number again i had exactly the same message. I did a search and i found an other site of royalmail http://www.royalmail.com/trackdetails" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;. I check my number there too and the info that i got was:

02/10/13 18:06 DESPATCHABLE TOHWDC SIGNED FOR ROAD 2 CHESTER MAIL CENTRE
02/10/13 18:06 COLLECTED CHESTER MAIL CENTRE

Is it normal after 9 days the shoes still be at CHESTER MAIL CENTRE????
I'm from Greece and i think that a customs problem must not exist cause UK and Greece are in EU. I also checked the reference number at Greece's national mail company and i didn't find anything. I really don't know what is happening. Keep waiting or its worthless?

Any ideas guys why message "DESPATCHABLE TOHWDC SIGNED FOR ROAD 2 CHESTER MAIL CENTRE" stuck for 10 days? It's really annoying when you try for first time to do something new like buy staff from internet and something goes wrong. i really need help how to handle that.

It looks as though Chester have sent it to HWDC but either HWDC haven't scanned the item yet or they've sent it on without scanning it. The next scan should have been DESPATCHED TO GREECE a couple of days after the previous two scans. International Signed For items to Greece should be tracked all the way to the destination so the item should turn up again somewhere

Have you tried the tracking number on Hellenic Post website?

I check again if there is any progress but nothing. Royalmail gave the same message and Hellenic Post said that there is no ad with this number. It's really annoying....

I sincerely doubt it's still at Chester. As other posters have said, it's either still in HWDC and hasn't been scanned, or has been sent on without a scan.

Guys i have some news. The deadline was today. So i fill the complain form about why the shoes didnt come yet. Here is the the conversation:

Ok guys i was wrong! Before an hour the bell rang and the courier boy brought me the package. Maybe i was really impatient! Anyway my statement change from to super !!!!!
