Don't let it bother you mate, I gave up on Hellmail a long time ago. Hellmail expect workers to just lie down and have management steamroll through change because RM "has to compete". Competition won't go away now, but that's no reason for management to cut the company to the bone. Whatever happened to collective bargaining?
They removed their forums because of many strong pro-union views that were being vented! And any disagreements were met with the "it's my site and if you don't like it, leave" line. I hardly give them the time of day anymore.

Don't you know RM have admitted there is no competition as they said in the courier it makes no economic sense for the UK economy for the Royal Mail infrastructure to be replicated.RobRoyThePostie wrote:Don't let it bother you mate, I gave up on Hellmail a long time ago. We will still end up delivering it anyway.
Our market share of the deliveries market is actually on the increase.

re: JHohn Duncan talks SH*T
John Duncan is a lifer at RM. He doesn't know what he's talking about. Better to believe people who are or have actually worked for the competition rather than a Royal Mail employee!
The competition have and are investing into their own E2E system. The reason is this is the only way they will make a profit from mail in this country. So please stop going on about some silly little article in the courier!

If Hellmail is spoon fed by Royal Mail which I think most accept on here. Then tomorrow morning may be the most important part of this whole dispute. If you cannot make it too London then pop down to your Unit, even if its for only an hour IT WILL MAKE A STATEMENT.

I've been to every picket so far and it's strange how it's the same old faces that keep turning up . . . . . . so, like TBT says, pop along to your office on strike days even if it's just for a short time . . . . your workmates will be pleased to see you, the public will see more support, any pics in the local press show more support and your screws will notice how many are there too . . . . . not only that but, on our line at least, it's usually a good laugh
Together we stand, divided we fall

ROCKS...
Fair call rocks but there is an element of anyone who comes on here and just spouts shite just to whined people up then i and i know others aint gonna sit and take it mate.... I listen to points and make mine as many on here do but i will never compromise my points of view because of some scab and screw thinks they come n rub our noses in shite... In know you see and speak from the posties side and with a Managers view point that you had is welcome in my book as well... But its all about common sense and Like Fozzie, He speaks his mind but talks straight.... Thats all i want and many others the same... We are all here because of RM and we work because we need money... But its the way we go about it that matters and our princables and morals....

Many HMail articles are found by the general public thru sites such as:South East Postie wrote:its just annoys me that public may come across this and its all they see and believe.
http://royal-mail-news.newslib.com/
They claim that the forums were pulled due to legal worries and that was actually a valid reason. However that is no excuse for continually publishing articles that are misleading >>> it makes you wonder what actually motivates the webmasters .... money no doubt.

Only been attacked once ... not because of my viewpoint but just because I am an Admin Manager.ROCKY wrote:we take the mick out of that site for their one sided view point then attack any manager who comes on this site lets make sure we dont sink to their level and accept the oponion of all people, the boss will soon bin them if they get out of line but give others a chance and lets proove we are better than them
Could have posted without stating my grade and no doubt this would have prevented what turned out to be a very tedious tit-for-tat serious of childish posts (50% down to me

I Wrote-During Covid-Which is still relevant now
It's good to get these types of threads, the ridiculous my manager said bollox, so we can reassure ourselves that while the world is falling apart, Royal Mail managers are still being the low-life C***S they have always been.
My BFF Clash
The daily grind of having to argue your case with an intellectual pigmy of a line manager is physically and emotionally draining.
