Can you please help me with tracking number LY570639859GB - It was sent to Royalmail UK on 29th for delivery and since then no information on tracking is available. Its being sent to Bucharest-Romania. Please help. Thanks.

A tracking number starting with LY should be an Airsure item but there's no Airsure service to Romania. I don't know if the item would be returned to sender or sent via a different service (e.g. Int'l Signed For) under a different tracking number

Keep an eye on http://www.royalmail.com/trackdetails and see if anything appears for your item over the next day or two. If there's still nothing ask Royal Mail on Twitter to look into it - https://twitter.com/RoyalMail

I would expect to see tracking details for at least as far as HWDC, who would then return it to the sender, on the same barcode.

Hello,
I have quite a same situation with an order processed on the 25th of July and we are now in 19th of August and no sign...
When trying to track the order using the giving reference number, I receive the following message : "The reference number does not use the correct format. Please check and try again."
The ref number is PAP10009812171GB .
I didn`t contact yet GLS Romania since I don`t know yet whether the product left UK or not.
Any help you can give in this matter ?

No Royal Mail tracking codes start with 3 letters - You have PAP thats where the problem is. It also has too many characters maximum nubmer is 13.

It should look something like this

AB 1234 5678 9GB

Okie, thanks for your answer, but this is the only code that was given to me, by http://www.newlook.com" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false; . Once I follow their Track your order link, it redirects me to your site, royalmail.com , under the track number from my innitial post.
What should I do in this situation ? Thanks.

We are not an official site but looking at https://gls-group.eu/EU/en/parcel-tracking" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false; they have tried at least twice to deliver it and the last attempt was Friday. Try contacting them by phone.

Just looking at that track and trace, it looks like the item is being returned to the sender, looking at the the GLS Location column

Sorry this unofficial sis unable to help despite checking 3 tracking sites for the 2 questions above. Can I suggest both of you use twitter and send @royalmail a message they may have more information.
