Hi there
I've bought an item on Ebay that was UK based and to be delivered in a few days with Royal Mail tracked delivery.
It's now been about 2.5 weeks, and the replies I'm getting suggest that the seller is actually based in China. They've given a tracking ID which says "Information on your item is not yet available online. " when I type it in.
I'm sure I can get a refund, so I'm not too bothered, I'm just intrigued by the tracking ID bit.
Could they have given me a broken tracking ID? Is there any way to tell how old an ID is, and where the package was theoretically sent from?
Thanks!

So it means that it was shipped FROM UK, and in that case 2 weeks is a long time, especially for a recorded delivery.
