Today i posted my package to Ireland but please could anybody answer me this as thinking back on it im not sure if i did it correctly or not.
I paid for it all on the elctronic posting machine i paid for the Royal Mail Small Packetts service so that printed out a small packetts label for me to stick on the envolope so i did then i also stuck the air mail sticker on the envolope then i posted it please can somebody tell me is that correct will it get to where i want it to go
so to clarify my package has the following on it
1. ADDRESS
2. SMALL PACKETTS STICKER TO SHOW I PAID THE MONEY FOR THE WIEGHT OF IT
3. AIR MAIL STICKER
is that all correct please?

Depends - where in Ireland - the republic or the 6 counties.
If in the 6 counties it didn't need the airmail sticker.

well its only electrical xbox 360 related equipment and i have checked it doesnt have any lithium batteries so thats fine
and i only thought you had to do the customs declaration if it was over £250

You don't need a customs declaration to EU countries so you should be OK that way
