Paid for tracked and signed for delivery but

I paid extra on shipping for tracking and a signiture, not only was the package 3 days late but the postman just left it in my porch! i took the morning off work to wait for this and it was just left in my porch. My invoice says a signiture will be required which is why i took the morning off work. the lable on the box looks exactly like this,




Can anybody confirm if the postman should have took my signature or did the seller not send it signed for, if so i would like a refund on my postage because i paid extra for signed for.

Its impossible to say without seeing the actual envelope but on its own the envelope in your post could be either with or without a signature on delivery.

The only obvious way is if there is a barcode or a "Signed for" sticker.

Even with a barcode some of our services don't need a signature.

This is the actual sticker...ive just removed any addressee details etc, There is no reference number to track it etc. Like i say i paid extra for faster shipping which said it would be tracked and require a signature. Ive emailed the seller and explained it was just left in my porch and that either the postman failed to take a signature or ive paid extra for a postage service i did not get. Is there anyway i can find out? i was going to ring royail mail but there is no reference number on the label i can give them , only a scan able barcode. .

They all look like Amazon Bar Codes - the top 2 where Amazon would normally put Tracked24 or Tracked 48 would normally have a tracking number underneath so it looks as though they sent it under the 48 system - which is equal the old 2nd class standard.

That is NOT one that requires a signature, so your supplier has pocketed the money you paid for that service.
It's a good job you're honest, otherwise you could claim you've not received it .
