I sent a parcel off last week but it wasn't delivered for whatever reason and is now being returned to sender. However I didn't put my address on the back (nor did my local advise me to).
I sent it 1st class recorded so I do have some form of tracking. Can I use the tracking code to get the parcel back to me? Surely should be able to if they have the code in there system so I should be told where it is?
Or will it go back to the post office I sent it from? - Surely it would have been scanned/registered upon collection that day to that post office?
Help appreciated.

Re: How do I get RTS mail with no return address?
All undeliverable stamped mail without an external return address is sent to the National Returns Centre in Belfast.
The process is to open the mail, check the contents, and identify which items do not reveal a return address. In these cases, the item will be stored for up to 12 months, pending a customer claim.
The length of time that the item is stored depends on the product used, or whether the item has significant personal or intrinsic value. If there is no claim after this period, the items are disposed of (destroyed, recycled, sold at auction).
The remaining items with a return address will be returned to the sender and if the item has a surcharge levied, then the surcharge will be levied to the sender.
