Airsure not so sure

Post by zen123 »

Hi just joined this board to post this concern. I posted an item to hong kong last week using airsure as I needed to be able to track it. Anyway I have been checking everyday but the staus hasn't changed since the day i sent it. Item LY50*******GB was posted at ***** on 07/05/13 and is being progressed through our network for delivery.

I called RM customer service today & was informed that the parcel hasn't even left UK yet. This has gotten me worried as on RM website it says that it aims to deliver in 6 days (I need it to arrive by Friday) & is faster than normal airmail.

First time I've used Airsure. Last time i sent by normal airmail & it arrived in 5days.

Where's the last tracking point when you try the tracking number at http://www.royalmail.com/trackdetails" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

Checked just now it still says "Item LY50*******GB was posted at ***** on 07/05/13 and is being progressed through our network for delivery."

Now try using the actual link posted, not whatever one you used before. It is a different part of the site. It gives different details.

From that looks like it hasn't been collected from your PO branch yet. It might be worth asking your local PO branch to have a look in case it's been mislaid and still at the local PO branch

Went there today they checked but didn't seem that it was left behind. Its just a small local branch where we all know each by first names.

Not looking good here. Just been informed that a couple letters sent to HK at the same time as the parcel have arrived today. They were sent normal airmail handed over to the counter lady together.

Can't see how a parcel larger than A4 size can be lost. Took a picture of it before I sent it. Address is perfectly legible & all labellings present & correct
