Hello all
I recently sent a package to thailand by airmail and on the declaration form i wrote letters on it.At the post office the lady said was it printed papers so i said yes but not thinking i wrote letters on the declaration.What i want to know is will it arrive over there or will it be delayed as i heard letters cant be sent in a printed papers package? I hope it doesnt get delayed as it needs to be over there asap. Any help would be much appreciated

The "letters can't be sent as printed papers" part just relates to how much the item costs to send. It shouldn't affect how the item is handled. Your only issue in Thailand would be if the contents of the item were liable to duties or taxes. Thanks for the reply, the package contains a visa application so i was a bit silly sending it as printed papers,the package is a folder with documents for the application so it needs to be over there asap as we plan on applying soon.Any idea how long it usually takes to arrive over there as i sent it on 3/5/13? In hindsight i should of sent it by International signed for but was in a rush and wasnt thinking.Fingers crossed it gets there for Monday.

The delivery aim is five to seven working days but I don't know how close to reality this is for Thailand. International quality of service for some countries is measured through a system called UNEX but Thailand aren't part of that system - http://www.ipc.be/en/Services/Technical ... /UNEX.aspx
