Not yet, depends on when it was actually posted and tbf, for something of that value I'd have used SD and tracked the item.

The seller said he posted it Wednesday and he didn't offer recorded delivery.

He said he did but didn't offer any proof :hmmmm We're quite good at delivering stuff (tbh it's our job), I've delivered packets the next day, if they've been posted and 2/3 days for 2nd class packet or a std packet then it would be the following day but it's rare to take so long............but sometimes it happens

For something that is worth £130 it would have been advisable to pay a little extra for Special Delivery which starts from 100gms £6.22 compensation max £500 for delivery by 1pm the price will of course rise for extra weight or extra services such as Saturday guaranteed delivery, 9am delivery, higher compensation value etc. all with tracking at every stage of the process.

Recorded might be cheaper but compensation may be much lower as all it offers is tracking from one end to the other, I don't think there is any tracking in between, only the counter and the point of delivery.

I know its closing the door after the horse has bolted, its still something to remember for next time, hope your item will turn up, delays can happen particularly Bank Holiday weekends.

Depends if it made the collection for that box or office. If not then it could have delayed it another day and it may not have entered Royal Mails pipeline until Thursday evening - I think its highly likely to turn up tomorrow - 1st day back after a break is usually a busy day on packets.

Once working 15 days has elapsed you can put in a complaint.

From my experience, sometimes first class can take longer. It's rare but can happen. I've had a parcel at first class take a week, but also have had airmail from Germany arrive the following day. The parcel may have been delayed in the post, or the poster may not have even posted it. Have they shown you proof of posting?
