Does anyone know if these apply to mail sent to Channel Islands?

At least the UK only main restrictions will apply.

Fair enough - I wasn't sure and asked the original question as it seemed strange that it is OK to fly certain goods to Channel Islands, but not, say, France or anywhere else for that matter.
