Thanks Royal Mail
Dear fellows,
hi,
I am a victim of another online fraud from fake pay-pal account. I sold my item to someone in Manchester and he or she sent me cash in the form of fake pal pal account.
I thought it was real. I delivered the item accordingly through royal mail. The following night i came to know that the person is fraud and the account is fake and the emails are scam. So i contacted royal mail in the morning and they helped me in stopping the delivery and saving my item from being hacked.
Thanks Royal Mail , I have no words for your helping and sincere attitude towards humanity.
Pl anybody who receives an email , looking like original site, first confirm it on phone or talk to someone who knows better about frauds.
I got the lesson, thought must share it with you.
Thanks

Thanks for that, rule of thumb though, always check the Papal account to see if the money is in there before sending stuff out.
Also you are very lucky the item was stopped as it's nothing to do with us what happened to you.

pl help
hi,
I am facing a problem now a days. One parcel that i sent wrongly to wrong person after receiving the fake payment is being returned to me. Royal mail stopped the parcel and returned it to me on that day on my request. Thanks royal mail.
Now it is about 15 days , and i could not track my parcel online and royal mail staff says that they have sent the request ahead. As i do not know anything about such procedures, I am waiting for my parcel since long. When will it come to my door? Or it is lost ? I do not know much about it.
I am only worried and in great tension.
pl help if you know some thing about such issues.
thanks a lot.

Re: Thanks Royal Mail
hi,
Thanks for your reply.
I am grateful for the Royal Mails intime help to me.
Now My track and trace system is saying that the item is returning back to sender. Some staff members say that it will take one week , some says that it will take two weeks, some says that it will take a month and some says that longer than a month......
My item has no return address inside,,,but i have told the customer service my whole address and they told me that they are going to send the information to return centre.
Pl tell me what should i do next except waiting.
My problem is that i am planning to go back to my country so I have to see how much time it will take, as I want to take the item with me.
If someone could help me in this regard , I would be grateful to you.
Thanks

Returning to the Sender: Means What?
Dear Fellows, Pl help me in understanding my problem . Leaving aside the details, I got the status for my item that it is returning to the sender. And in detailed view, it is still held in the enquiry office in Belfast. My item has no return address on it. But i have told my address to many customer service people who said that they will send the information to that centre. Now I am not sure about :
1. When the item will be dispatched to me?
2. Will they need any proof from my side to send it to me?
3. How they come to know the address to return it?
4. Do I need to send a P58 form to them?
Pl help me as I want to get my item back as early as possible ......................
Thanks a lot for helping me out.

monaaeysha wrote: 1. When the item will be dispatched to me? No-one can say. Wait for tracking to update. It should be reasonably fast being a SD item so maybe a week?
2. Will they need any proof from my side to send it to me? Have you not already provided this in your contact with Customer Services? It'll probably be opened to check it contains what you claim it contains - at least I would do that, being a suspicious soul.
3. How they come to know the address to return it? Because you told Customer Services the address?
4. Do I need to send a P58 form to them? Did Customer Services tell you you should? If so, do. If not, don't.
Pl help me as I want to get my item back as early as possible ...................... Just wait. There's nothing any of us can do.
Thanks a lot for helping me out.

Re: Thanks Royal Mail
hi,
Thansk a lot for your kind and helpful reply to me so soon. I am very grateful. Pl do not mind, my English is very poor.
I have given all the information to Royal Mail customer service staff and they told me that they will send it further.
Royal mail staff told me that they do not need p58 at this moment. They also told me that my item is held due to having no return address on it. I am only worried about this information. As I have given them address many times....I want to know about the address problem-will it appear on data base or what?
Thanks A Lot For Replying Me.

Re: Thanks Royal Mail
Yes they will send your details to Belfast and they will locate your item (hopefully) and return it to you.
However they usually have 20,000,000 (20 million) items stored there so its not an instant process. http://www.mirror.co.uk/news/uk-news/ro ... re-1713249" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

Re: Thanks Royal Mail
Dear Fellows,
Pl help me once again....at this point .....
Today again i am facing another problem. One mail from royal mail customer service says that I need p58 form to send to Return Centre and the other mail says that I do not need any P58 form to send anywhere. Some says I have to send it and some says that the information is already sent to them, when I talk on phone.
So please , could anyone clear it to me, when you send p58 form. My item is found in Return Centre and has no address inside or outside. I have given address and details to many customer service people who told me that they are going to deliver the information to the relevant staff.
Pl help me !
thanks

form P58: when is required
Dear Fellows,
hi,
As I am facing a problem with my Item that is held in the national return centre being no return address on it.At this point, I have consulted many customer service people and there is a great contradiction in the opinion. Some of them says that I need to send a form p58 and some says that simply no need of it as they have sent the information ahead.
Pl verify to me, if someone knows it for real , what is the legal requirement and how should i handle this contradiction.
My Item status is that it is held in national return centre being no return address in it. I am the sender and now wants to get it back as a receiver too. Thanks
So pl help me in this regard.
most obliged ,
mona

We can't offer official advice on this matter as we are an unofficial site. However, if they have asked for it, its better to complete it than not.

Re: Thanks Royal Mail
I don't know anything for fact.
But, in your position, I would have sent copies. If you had sent the originals and they had gone missing, then you're left with nothing. As to if they will be acceptable to whoever is dealing with it, you'll have to see.

Re: Thanks Royal Mail
hi,
Thanks for your email.
I again called customer service staff of royal mail and they said that they do not need P58 as they exactly know where the item is.
Anyhow I have sent P58 with photocopies of receipts as well.
Actually I want to get my item back as early as possible because I am leaving U.K for holidays and I want to take that piece with me.
The Item was scanned on 15th of Feb, 2013 in National Return Centre and Still the status is not changed.
Can anybody help me in receiving that item in the coming week or so?
Alternatively, when I will not be at my home, who will receive the item? Will it again go back to return centre? Or what should I do from sending it back there?
thanks
