Hi
A friend of mine sent me an expensive package by airsure to the Netherlands. When he got home he noticed that the receipt actually said New Zealand and not Netherlands! However the address on the envelope is correct. Until now the tracking details only specify "DESPATCHABLE TO HWDC". I'm really really worried, especially because he forgot to put his own address in the package, so if it doesn't get sent to me, or gets sent to New Zealand and back to UK, I don't know where it will go. Do you think this might happen or it will go to the address in the envelope?

HWDC is Royal Mail's Heathrow Worldwide Distribution Centre, but probably not much chance of them being able to locate the item given the volume of items they handle daily.

it should go to the address on the parcel - its just a case of human error when printing the receipt and should have no effect on the operational aspect of the parcel going through the system.

Thanks you are right. According to the track details it is now in the Netherlands. I paid as if it were going to New Zealand though, I guess the countries were next to one another when the post office guy chose it and clicked wrongly.
