Delivery refused by addressee
I checked the tracking website in the morning and the note said it is now at the local delivery office ready for delivery. I expected a card to be waiting for me when i got home from work but there wasn't. On checking the tracking website the note says the item was refused delivery by addressee but I wasn't at home so couldn't have refused it. Would the item still be at the local delivery office. Should I phone them or go there personally tomorrow when the office is open to collect it. I only have the tracking number. I was waiting patiently for this as it was my nephews christmas present.

Phone them tomorrow. It may be a case of they've selected the wrong reason for non delivery, but a card should still have been left. Hopefully the item will still be there- we only RToS items the day after, but some offices might do it differently.
Does this rag smell of chloroform to you?

It's also possible that you have the wrong tracking number.
