HELP !! RU*********GB - Romania or Russia ??

Hello. I received today from my sender(thewatchhut.co.uk) an order shipment confirmation email and my Royal Mail tracking reference which begins with RU !! Does this mean Russia or Romania?? My order is supposed to be shipped to Romania !

The first 2 letters are check digits and mean nothing.

The last 2 letters of a tracking number is the originating country not the destination.

However RU would be Russia and Romania would be RO if the tracking number ended in them.

RU doesn't mean a country, it's the GB at the end that's important-it's a UK tracking number for things posted in the UK.
Does this rag smell of chloroform to you?
