Peterborough Problems?

Post by phooey »

I am new to this site and joined solely to find out why over 800 of my tracked parcels are stuck in Peterborough. I posted them on Monday 3rd December 2012 and today being Friday 7th December they are still sitting in Peterborough. Can someone please give me a heads up on this as I am receiving so many customer complaints I am beside myself with worry and added stress.

Sorry to hear of your problem, I am sure someone will post some help for your problem, but YOUR postal service is only going to go down hill. No one cares about any thing till it effects them. Welcome to the future.

I had read this earlier but this article is regarding morning posties not the guys that help with re-routing. Having spoken to the customer service team throughout yesterday and today, no one can give me an answer and every answer is different so I know I am being fobbed off, some say there is no problem (strangely) and others say the scanner has broken down, either way I wish RM would post something so I can refer customers to said page, at the moment I am getting a cancellation every hour with abusive emails, surely compensation is due?

That is something you'd have to take up with RM themselves I'm afraid :-/ And don't call me Shirley

I'm also unfortunately well aware that RM "higher ups" like to pretend nothing is wrong, won't admit it and the information is unlikely to be passed on to the staff in the call centres.

And what lovely customers you have  RM don't consider it a lost item until it's been 15 working days, so I'd suggest you perhaps put something in your selling blurb to not contact you about items until this time has elapsed? After that, there's no issue with cancellations etc as it's clear it's AWOL and you just file a claim with RM etc. I would assume SD items would still get processed and delivered next day as they travel separately to RD and RM Tracked and are scanned at each stop with a full tracking trail.
