Hi,
I wasn't in when a parcel came this morning so I got a leaflet in the door saying I missed it..
It's a royal mail tracked item but on the website it says you can collect the following:
"We collect most types of mail, including:
First or Second Class, franked or stamped mail
Special Delivery™ – remember to check that your collection time falls before the latest acceptance time due for Special Delivery™ mail
Recorded Signed For™ mail – remember to check that your collection time falls before the latest acceptance time due for Recorded Signed For™ mail
Small packets
International mail "
I see the royal mail tracked one isnt in there.. and it's defintely a seperate option.

Your fine to collect just make sure you go down from when it will be there usually 24 - 48 hours after the attempt. Timing will be on the card although a lot of offices will be open longer from next week till Christmas.
Ignore the rest of what you have posted as well. I think you misinterpreted what you posted, thats all the stuff for when we collect mail from firms and businesses, not when you collect from the Delivery Office.

on the back it says wait for '5' hours to collect... well it's either a five or a squiggle!!! Can't tell.

It will be a van driver and he'll probably finish work about 5 hours after putting the card through your door. To avoid any grief I would go down tomorrow, it will give the office time to process it and give you a better chance of not wasting a trip in.
