Hello!
Okay so I made an order yesterday at around 4pm, I recieved confirmation that it was dispatched at around 4:30pm, I paid for first class postage.
My main question is what would be the latest time (TODAY) that my parcel could come, I understand it's 2pm but I live in Bradford and I'm not aware of when you deliver until, I should also add that it's a DVD.
Is there still hope that I can receive it today!?!
Thanks in advance!

What are the delivery times for First Class?
We aim to deliver most First Class mail by the next working day, including Saturdays. If you're sending mail far away, catch the early morning post so it's more likely to be delivered the next working day.
If I post my First Class item early in the morning, is it guaranteed to get there the next day?
Although we aim to deliver mail the next working day, we cannot guarantee delivery times. We recommend our Special Delivery™ 9.00am service or Special Delivery™ Next Day if you want to guarantee next day arrival.

Re: Saturday Postage...
The latest time it could arrive is by midnight tonight, but unlikely! What time post is going to be delivered is like asking "how long's a piece of string?" to be honest- especially with all the modernisation gumpf that's going on at the moment.
However, I'd hazard a guess and say that if it didn't come with the post whatever that time arrived, then it's not coming today.

It's good to get these types of threads, the ridiculous my manager said bollox, so we can reassure ourselves that while the world is falling apart, Royal Mail managers are still being the low-life C***S they have always been.

The daily grind of having to argue your case with an intellectual pigmy of a line manager is physically and emotionally draining.

Aren't packets different from letters? Not certain but don't think First class packets are in the "First Class" letters USO.
Might be wrong though!
