Dear all,
Would very much appreciate some help here. The other day I was advised at my Post Office to send cash abroad via the service Airsure. I did so and marked the recipient's address according to the PO Box (in the U.S.: it was the only address I had for the recipient). Later I found out online that Airsure cannot be used to send to PO Boxes. So does anyone have any idea what will happen to the package I sent?

Moved to customer forum.

It's good to get these types of threads, the ridiculous my manager said bollox, so we can reassure ourselves that while the world is falling apart, Royal Mail managers are still being the low-life C***S they have always been.
My BFF Clash
The daily grind of having to argue your case with an intellectual pigmy of a line manager is physically and emotionally draining.

I guess it would be returned to sender.
Also could the customer claim the postage back as he was sold the wrong product?

You won't receive anything if it does get lost, we will deny it instantly in international. Your only chance is a complaint with post office counters for being sold the wrong service.
It was a fairly recent change though, and I don't think it was announced internally the website was just changed, I only heard about it from others on the casework team.
