hey guys,
so I was awaiting a delivery dispatched on the 22nd that I ordered online and thought I would have a quick look and check the tracking number (as its for my kids and they looking forward to it), anyway according the the royal mail track & trace it says
Item *********** could not be delivered on 2012-10-24 (and no Safeplace option was specified by the addressee). It is being held at Glasgow G31 DO pending instructions from addressee.
I was at home all day yesterday and know for a fact my door never went and I NEVER received one of those sorry you were out cards, I can't find any info about where being held at Glasgow G31 is at all, and the royal mail website is useless when coming to customer service and information when this occurs.
has anyone any info or any help in what to do about this as I can't even just rearrange delivery online as it asks for the sorry you were out card details (which I never received)
so I am at a bit of a loss as what to do

Give the number a try their (still RM track and trace but gives more detail) what time of the day does it show as a delivery attempt being made?

If there's no phone number for the office, but you have a tracking number and your address, you can ask for a redelivery online and specify the day.
