Very wired...about my stolen item

Post by kidgenie »

It would be most grateful if someone could help with my case. I am really confused and dont know what has happened.

I posted my iPhone via special delivery and upon arrival the receiver found out that they received an empty box. On examination of the outer packaging it is evident that it has been tampered with then taped back with brown tape.

The wired thing is...after I reported the issue with RM, RM's staff from claim department told me that after their investigation, they found out that the weight of the empty box is of the similar weight as the weight on my post certificate. So they think I posted an empty box or my phone was gone before I brought it to the post office.

However, I am 100% sure that I put the phone inside the box (the original iPhone box) and sealed with transparent tape. My colleague was witnessing the whole process and she is 100% sure that the phone is inside the box as well. After I sealed it, I brought it into the post office in the same building as my office. So I am sure that no one else has touched my parcel. And also if I didnt send out the box, how come my parcel be taped back with brown tape?

I dont really know what has happened and dont know who took my phone away. Can anyone give me any suggestion?

I am not a ebay seller or buyer...My phone was water damaged so I was posting it to a repairer that have repaired my ipad before to have a look into it. They fixed my ipad and sent it back to me very quick.
