please help about Standard international mails

Dear All,
This is harun from Turkey. What I want to ask is that I await for my degree certificate from leeds metropolitan university to my address here in Turkey. Without my knowledge, university has sent my certificate by standard ınternatıonal mail (without tracking number). Therefore I cannot track the item in Turkey nor in Uk. It has been 35 days so far and In my city, postal service says that Item has no come to this city so I dont know if the item is in Uk or in Turkey. I wanted to contact to HWDC but I could not do it. Can someone help me please on how to check where it is. This is really very important for me and I seek your help.

Have you contacted your university again? Perhaps they have recieved it back?

Yes I have contacted but They are not helpful at all as all they say is we sent to you. That is all I can get a response from them

To be honest with HWDC dealing with millions of items each year it would be nearly impossible for them to help find an untracked item.

There is no way to search through all the mail for your one item, no matter how important. If it is in the system it will have been processed and sent to Turkey. If it is damaged it will be dealt with as usual and sent on. It is more than likely in Turkey already. Have you received post from the institution to Turkey before so are sure they have your correct address?

Looking for a single item would be like searching for one particular orange, in a field of 10,000 orange trees, whilst they are on lorries being driven from Alanya to Istanbul, and not finding it one day because it could have been on yesterdays 10,000 or tomorrows 10,000 etc. It just doesn't work.
