The idea of P&L is that all packets and tracked items for their duties are taken out. If the packet is too big for the walking man of the pair then the designated driver should deliver it. As far as I know this is allowed for in the Driver having slightly smaller loops.

Re: P&L
In theory, but when the drivers loop has a more than usual number of knocks then that loop becomes longer to deliver than the passengers. The only way that will work is if the driver & passenger exchange loops on a daily basis (passenger delivering to more addresses). There is no way anyone can plan for the amount of packets each loop gets.TrueBlueTerrier wrote: As far as I know this is allowed for in the Driver having slightly smaller loops.

He thinks the driver finishes all his loops 5 minutes before the walker

Re: P&L
I'm with you.
I really don't get the issue.
If you don't have time for the big packets or anything else for that matter...take it back or don't take it out to start with.
If the loops are out of sync...enjoy the break and swap it around the next day.
If you're out with someone slow...enjoy the easy day, help if you can, don't if it bothers you that much.
Do it by the book,do it their way and don't get stressed.
S'only a job.

Not on my walk 21 mins between 2 walks to do all oversized oh by the way planners don't care if you have issues
