Possibly depend on the 3.2 that Fishtank has posted,get your rep to get in touch with your area rep.

It's good to get these types of threads, the ridiculous my manager said bollox, so we can reassure ourselves that while the world is falling apart, Royal Mail managers are still being the low-life C***S they have always been.

The daily grind of having to argue your case with an intellectual pigmy of a line manager is physically and emotionally draining.

It's a yes or at least it should be.
How long till the 4yrs are up,sometimes it's best to keep quiet,then they forget,then you're in.
Happened at my place but under the 2yr system,DOM forgot.

Doe's any body have RM's procedure for terminating a FTC early? I was sure it was written somewhere that it was 6 weeks, but I just can't find it anywhere.

This LTB does not apply to your situation but the AFG2012 does - Download Link http://www.cwu.org/news/archive/cwu-rec ... ction.html" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;
2.7.7 The level of part time Employees’ contracted hours will be jointly reviewed locally on a six monthly basis. Where appropriate, increased contracted hours will be offered to reflect the hours actually worked and planned.
That's on page 10 of the document and is in the legally binding section - so best get your reps on board if you are in the Union and see if they can get you made up to 39 hours.

The way the agreement is being treated in my office is that you WILL get a permanent contract after 2 years but NOT in our office they will send you a letter offering you a permanent contract in another office however to my knowledge none has accepted one.

Is this right?
