Delivered where

Post by janitor »

Hi all, sent a claim to an insurance company, the address was a P O box, it was sent SD, and checking the track and trace it was out for delivery from mail center 05.49 delivered at 05.52. There is no option to view signature , and find it hard to believe that it was actually collected or delivered to them at this time, so any one any idea where it was delivered to. Haven't contacted them will see what happens, just wondering what happens in a case like this.

Have you checked the audit track and trace page http://www.royalmail.com/trackdetails" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false; it may have been scanned into the DO, then into the Callesr Office. It is possible that a big company collects their mail early - we used to have one such company arrive at around 6am to collect their stuff.

They may also have used a signing sheet rather than a PDA because of the number they receive.
