Parcel Tracked To Heathrow But No Update

Post by Cesca »

Re posting sorry, I used the wrong section :)

Please could someone advise me on a parcel I am waiting for.
Parcel left Italy on 26 April, I haven't been able to track it so I called my sorting office who informed me it was at Heathrow from 27 April but nothing else. Still no sign of parcel and I'm a little concerned its got lost?
It was sent airmail signed for RA427455664IT can anyone advise what I should do?

Thank you

The tracking number doesn't seem to work. Have you got a link to the track and trace page for the equivalent of Royal Mail in Italy?

Thank you to both of you for replying. On the Italian track it only shows the parcel left Italy, it is rather temperamental too as the previous reply mentioned.
I haven't been able to track it since then, it was someone at the sorting office mentioned Heathrow, I don't know how they found that out, i am none the wiser either way :) but I'd it is at Heathrow that's 2 weeks ago, seems a long time?

Whatever goes to Heathrow, seems to stay there for a couple of weeks or so,sometimes even longer,it's a strange goings on,and we're still non the wiser on this site.

As stated by Postman, things tend to stay at Langley for ages whilst customs are doing their thing. We're still hoping someone from Langley will come on here and explain the bermuda triangle that is HWDC Langley... They usually appear after a few (or more) weeks without the tracking system being updated.

Thank you so much all! Seems all is not lost then just have to be patient :) I asked as I've never had a problem before with international mail, most arrive within days. Guess I have just been lucky so far.
Thank you again, your time is much appreciated!

Hi all,

I am in the same situation. I am waiting for a parcel from Spain, the reference number is RR475854445ES. I checked with the Spanish Royal Mail and it is in Heathrow from the 6th of September. I could not find any contact numbers to call to Heathrow office and after one month I think I should know something. I never had to wait for so long for any parcel before so I am a bit worried now. What should I do?

How did it go with you guys? Did toy finally receive your parcels? After how long?

Thanks

Correos (Sociedad Estatal de Correos y Telégrafos) which translates as Mail (State Society of Posts and Telegraphs).

I have attempted to track your parcel at http://www.royalmail.com/trackdetails" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false; which does not recognise the number, and http://www.track-trace.com/post" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false; (the Correos one) which does and backs up what you say.

To be honest the only option open to you now is to follow on twitter the Royal Mail Customer Services account @RoyalMail and see if they can help.
