Work Experience

Post by MGB »

I'd like to do work experience with the Royal Mail in June. I sent a letter to the managers (seems like a taboo word from what I've seen here :Very Happy ) of my local DO and M'cr Mail Centre. The letters went recorded 1st more than a week ago but are still showing as 'submitted at PO'. Any idea if M'cr MC especially do WE, and if I made a mistake sending a letter recorded to a MC in case it clogs up the system? Any idea when I should expect a reply too? Cheers

For the minute ignore the tracking thing.Chances are it hasn't been signed for.
When you say work experience (another taboo thingy :nervous )are you still at school?

It's good to get these types of threads, the ridiculous my manager said bollox, so we can reassure ourselves that while the world is falling apart, Royal Mail managers are still being the low-life C***S they have always been.
My BFF Clash
The daily grind of having to argue your case with an intellectual pigmy of a line manager is physically and emotionally draining.

Nothing to do with youngsters still at school though. I don't know for sure but very much doubt WE is offered to such youngsters. I've never see any in our office anyway.
