delivered from spdo

Post by eastoncbradley »

been tracking an item and now it says that following:
We have a record of item FR083490874GB as being delivered from South Elmsall SPDO on 2012-04-19.

nothing has been delivered to our house and nothing shows they have tried i.e a card.
so what does that actually mean?

It's been delivered 'TO' South Elmsall SPDO not 'FROM'.
Have you asked for it to be delivered to a PO?
Use the link below,it is a different one that the public uses.

It's good to get these types of threads, the ridiculous my manager said bollox, so we can reassure ourselves that while the world is falling apart, Royal Mail managers are still being the low-life C***S they have always been.

looks to me like a failure on the PDA handling
contact the DO and ask what the deal is
could be pouched of or retained at the PO for collection(depending on local set up)

I have a feeling its a small packet that the driver has scanned and asked a walker to drop off hence the timing. To add weight to that the customer has not returned so it looks as though he got it later on. :hmmmm

If South Elmsall, like many other SPDOs, doesn't have PDAs then Pontefract Delivery Office will most likely have scanned it as 'delivered from South Elmsall' as that is what could be expected to happen later in the day. :Very Happy
